Job Description

We are seeking a creative and execution-oriented Copywriting Assistant to handle content planning and copywriting for the Amazon e-commerce platform. This role is ideal for candidates with an e-commerce marketing mindset, strong copywriting skills, and the ability to develop strategies based on market analysis, with the goal of enhancing brand visibility and optimizing product sales conversion.

  • Product Copywriting and Optimization

  • Write high-quality product titles, bullet points, A+ pages, and brand story content based on product features and market demand to improve search rankings and conversion rates.

  • Amazon Product Listings and A+ Content Planning

  • Plan and execute content strategies for Amazon product listings, including main images, secondary images, and A+/brand story content.

    Collaborate with the operations team to ensure content aligns with marketing goals and promotional activities.

    Coordinate with designers to ensure visual elements meet strategic expectations.

  • Brand Store and Website Planning

  • Develop content and design strategies for Amazon Brand Stores and official brand websites.

    Ensure content aligns with the brand’s overall messaging, visual identity, and customer experience.

    Regularly update and optimize content based on performance metrics and customer feedback.

  • Project Management and Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between design, product development, and sales/operations teams.

    Ensure all content development projects are executed on time and meet brand and product requirements.

    Review final content and design elements to ensure quality before implementation.

    Provide feedback to designers and copywriters to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.

  • Project Management and Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between design, product development, and sales/operations teams.

    Ensure all content development projects are executed on time and meet brand and product requirements.

    Review final content and design elements to ensure quality before implementation.

    Provide feedback to designers and copywriters to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Background

  • Preference for degrees in Marketing, E-commerce, Journalism, Advertising, or related fields.

  • Copywriting Skills

  • Excellent writing skills in Chinese/English, capable of crafting compelling marketing content that attracts consumers.

  • E-commerce Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Amazon platform rules, A9 search algorithms, and Listing optimization strategies is a plus.

  • SEO Optimization

  • Basic knowledge of SEO, with the ability to use keywords effectively to boost search rankings.

  • Creative and Planning Skills

  • Ability to develop creative marketing solutions to enhance brand competitiveness.

  • Data Analysis

  • Basic data analysis skills to adjust copywriting strategies based on operational data.

  • Team Collaboration

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different departments to drive project execution.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, or Shopify. Familiarity with AI copywriting tools like ChatGPT or Copysmith to improve content production efficiency. Prior experience in brand marketing planning or social media operations is preferred. Basic skills in image/video editing to assist with visual content optimization.
